What is SAP R3 System Architecture?

SAP R/3 is one of the main product of SAP.Where R stands for Real Time and the number 3 relates  to three tier application architecture(Database,Application,and Client).
Most of the business runs in SAP R/3 system.Above 80% of companies implement this software.

One tier Architecture?

In a one tier R/3 system configuration,all processing task are performed on one server,as is classic mainframe processing.




Two tier Architecture?

Two tier R/3 system configuration are usually implemented  using special presentation server that are responsible solely for formatting the graphical user interface.Many R/3 system users use Windows PCs .Two tier Architecture Database+Application server in same system and Presentation(client) in different system.



Three tier Architecture?

In a three tier architecture ,separate servers are used for each tier.using data from the database
server,several different application servers can operate at same time.To ensure that the load on individual servers  is as even as possible and to the performed ,You can use special application server for individual application area such as distributed or financial accounting .
 (logon and  load balancing).

Find the Date and Time for the imported Transport Request.

Execute Tcode STMS_IMPORT,Select the transport request  and choose LOGS(ctrl+F4).





Above Choose  highlighted icon to see the log.

The date and time will be displayed form the Transport Request log.
  
Alternatively,Go to Tcode SE01,Enter the Transport number and see the same log screen.
